What is Instant Booking?
Instant Booking allows clients to book a session directly into your calendar at specific times of your choosing, completely eliminating the back-and-forth emails of finding a mutually available slot.

How to set up Instant Book Slots
Setting up your availability is quick and flexible. Follow these steps:
Select a time: Navigate to your calendar and click on your desired time slot.
Toggle slot type: When the side panel opens, select Instant book slot (instead of "Session").
Choose frequency: Check the Repeat slot weekly box if you want this exact slot offered every week. Leave it unchecked to create a one-off slot.
Save and publish: Click Save to make the slot instantly live and viewable for clients. Repeat this process for as many slots as you would like to offer.
Frequently Asked Questions
What times can I set Instant Book Slots for?
You can start slots at any 15-minute interval (e.g., 09:00, 10:15, 13:30, or 16:45). Note that Instant Book slots cannot overlap.
How can I ensure buffer time between each session?
50-minute sessions: The system handles this automatically, leaving a built-in 10-minute gap between back-to-back appointments.
60-minute sessions: You will need to manually stagger your slots to give yourself breaks (e.g., setting slots for 09:00–10:00, then 10:15–11:15).
What timezone are instant book slots in?
The calendar always displays slots in your local timezone. Clients will automatically see the times converted into their local timezone.
How much notice will I receive of an instant book?
Clients cannot book a slot less than 24 hours in advance. You are always guaranteed a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
How do I remove my instant book slots while I'm away?
One-off Slots: Simply delete them for the specific dates you will be out of office
Weekly Recurring: Deleting a recurring slot removes all future instances of that day/time. To take time off, delete the series. When you return, navigate to that week's calendar and set up a brand-new weekly recurring slot.
Please note when Instant Book Slots are removed, you are still visible to clients on Unmind Therapy & Coaching and can still receive booking request via Sessions. To hide your profile completely while you are away please contact the support team.
