All practitioners are required to read our Practitioner Handbook in full after applying to work with Unmind. This handbook outlines Unmind’s ways of working, our expectations for how you work with clients, and guides you on using Unmind safely and effectively to provide the best support.

Upon submitting your application, you agreed to Unmind’s Practitioner Terms and Conditions. These terms outline the boundaries of your relationship with Unmind, including expectations for professional conduct. You can read the Terms and Conditions here.

What is covered in the Handbook?

The handbook covers everything you need to know to work with Unmind according to our Ways of Working, and how to effectively support your clients, all in one place. The main sections include:

  1. What is Unmind?
  2. Unmind recruits a network of high quality practitioners
  3. Your first steps on the platform
  4. Effectively support your clients
  5. Unmind supports safe therapeutic ending

How is the Handbook different from the Help Centre?

The Handbook is your one-stop guide to working with Unmind, from joining the platform throughout your journey with us. It includes Unmind's expectations of practitioners and best practices, but it is not a step-by-step manual on how to use the platform.

The Help Centre is your step-by-step manual for actions you may take on the platform during your work on Unmind, e.g. how to schedule sessions in Unmind Connect. Throughout the Handbook, you will see links to Help Centre articles that will guide you through how the use the platform.

Where can I access the Handbook?

Our team is putting the finishing touches on the Handbook as we speak. Once it's published, we'll contact all practitioners to share it with you, and let you know where you can access the Handbook to refer back to during your time with Unmind.

If you have any questions, please consult our Practitioner Help Center. If you can’t find the answer there, you can contact our Support Team.
