There may be situations when Unmind will need to end the relationship with a practitioner, such as when there are concerns about their practice or they no longer meet our standards or requirements.
Unmind commits to approaching a contract termination with compassion and respect for the practitioner and any clients impacted.
These are the principles we use to guide a practitioner termination:
- We give the benefit of the doubt. Unmind will contact the practitioner to understand and investigate a situation before making a decision to terminate.
- We consider situations in their entirety. We understand that there may be extenuating circumstances, and we will consider all aspects of a situation before making a decision.
- We prioritise client safety and experience. Where a practitioner has ongoing client relationships, we will, where possible, allow the practitioner 30 days (i.e. 4 sessions per user) to bring these relationships to a close where it is safe to do so.
- We aim for a mutual agreement. Where possible, Unmind will work collaboratively with the practitioner to agree on a termination approach that suits Unmind, the practitioner and any ongoing client relationships the practitioner may have.
