It is important that you and the client are aware of the number of sessions they have available via their employer, and that you regularly review and discuss this.
When a client has used all of their session allowance, they will no longer be able to book sessions with you paid for by their employer.
The sessions a client is entitled to depends on the organisation they work for. This information is available when booking an appointment with the client in your Unmind calendar. When selecting a client's name from the client drop-down list, the sessions they have remaining will be shown. If there's nothing beside the client's name this means they have access to one session per week.
The session limit will renew when the organisation’s contract with Unmind renews, so it depends on each organisation.
How to check the number of sessions available to a client
When you are booking an appointment on the calendar, you should see the number of session remaining for your client next to their name. (visual reference below)
Frequency
All clients have access to one session per week.
Self-Pay
In the instance that your client needs more sessions beyond their session limits and you think doing so is clinically appropriate, you can continue to see the client via Self-Pay.
Requesting further sessions from the employer
If you feel that there is a clinical need for more sessions with a client and you have explored self-pay and alternative support options, you can view our Requesting additional sessions from a client's employer help article for guidance on navigating this process.
