If you wish to contact your client between sessions then email is often the best way to do this. For some clients, it can be helpful to communicate regularly with them between sessions to check in and maintain progress or to discuss tasks they may be undertaking.
Accessing client contact details
To locate a client’s contact information:
- Navigate to the Clients page in your Connect account
- Search the specific client
- Click on the client’s name to open their profile
- Select the Contact Details option to view their contact information
Important considerations for emailing clients
Please gain consent from clients before emailing and agree on the nature of what can be contained within emails (e.g. appointment changes, relevant session materials, essential resources, and any forms or questionnaires). In line with best practices, we recommend sharing only limited and non-sensitive information through electronic communications. Please avoid adding sensitive information along with any personally identifiable information within email subject lines.
It is essential to recognise that clients' email accounts may not always guarantee a secure environment. With this in mind, please confirm the accuracy of their email addresses and obtain permission to engage with them via this method.
