Unmind uses a secure payment platform called Stripe to process payments. Once you have signed in, you will need to create and connect an account on Stripe to receive payments from clients on Unmind.
To get started, you will need your mobile phone number and relevant bank details depending on where your bank is based:
- Europe - IBAN (international bank account number)
- UK - Account number and sort code
- Australia - Account number and BSB
If you are not sure which details you need, feel free to reach out to us.
From your account, go to Settings on the left menu bar, then Integrations, and under Stripe click Connect Account.
This will open the payment platform Stripe. Enter your phone number and email address as requested and click Next.
Stripe will then send you a text message with a verification code, so you can verify your phone number. Enter the verification code and proceed to the next page.
On the next page, you will be asked to enter some details about your business. If you're an independent therapist, select Individual / Sole Trader and then click Next.
Fill in the form with your details as requested and click Next.
Then you'll be asked to enter some details about the industry you are working in. There is no option for therapy in some jurisdictions, please select Consulting Services.
If you have a website, you can pop that in the next field and click Next. If you don't have a website, click add product description instead and you can add in a quick description, such as 'mental health services'.
Next, fill in your bank account details. Select your currency, the country of your bank account and the relevant bank details for your bank. Reminder below for for reference:
- Europe - IBAN (international bank account number)
- UK - Account number and sort code
- Australia - Account number and BSB
When you're ready, click Save.
On the next page, you'll be asked to review your information and then you will need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save.
At this point you will be redirected to Unmind. Then all you need to do is click Visit Dashboard. Don’t forget to verify your email with Stripe.
