When you receive a client request or a direct booking, you must get in touch with the client within 48 hours of receiving the request.
If you have chosen not to make your calendar directly available for clients to book, prospective clients can send you a session request through the platform. When a client sends a request, you can view it in Unmind Connect under Appointments > Requests.
To find the client's contact details, navigate to the Clients page. Additionally, you will receive an email from Unmind containing the client's contact details and a message from them. You should contact the client within 48 hours to share your availability and organise a session time that suits both parties.
Once you have agreed on a time for the session, you can book it in your calendar by following the steps outlined in this article: Scheduling a session with a client.
If you have made your calendar available, and you receive a direct booking, please contact the client within 48 hours to confirm that you have received the request.
If you are fully booked or not able to take on new clients, please ensure you contact us, and our team will temporarily hide your profile until you're ready to take on new clients. You can learn more about this here.
We want clients to be able to confirm and book sessions quickly and easily so they can get the support that they need as soon as possible. It can be anxiety-provoking for a client waiting to know if a session that they have requested is going to be accepted. For this reason, we encourage you to switch to direct booking so clients can book instantly. If, however, you don’t use this function then please ensure that you respond within 48 hours to accept or decline requests.
