It’s worth noting that the quicker you respond to us, the quicker we can progress your application and get you live on the platform. If responses are too slow, we may need to close your application and place you on our waiting list.

Timelines can vary depending on a few factors, such as client demand and practitioner responsiveness, but the typical journey looks like this:

Application submission

The first step is submitting your details via the Unmind application landing page.

We’ll ask for:

  • Your contact details
  • Professional qualifications
  • Registration or membership with a recognised professional body
  • Current indemnity insurance (if required)

Document verification

Our practitioner team will review your submitted documents to ensure they meet Unmind’s requirements. This usually takes 1–2 weeks from submission.

Because requirements vary by country, we may contact you to clarify details or request additional documentation.

Once your documents are approved, your profile will be unlocked and ready for you to complete.

Profile review

Next, we’ll review the content and photo on your practitioner profile. This ensures your profile meets Unmind’s standards and provides a clear, consistent experience for clients.

Your profile must:

  • Be clear, professional, and authentic
  • Include a compliant, high-quality profile photo
  • Accurately reflect your expertise and working style

We’ll also review the modalities you’ve selected in your profile. We may ask you to provide proof of training for any modality you list.

Currently, Unmind accepts the following modalities:

  • ACT
  • DBT
  • CBT
  • SFBT
  • Mindfulness
  • EMDR
  • CFT
  • Counselling
  • Short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy

Your profile cannot go live until it has been reviewed and approved.

Profile is live

Once your application and profile are approved:

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email
  • Your profile will go live on the Unmind platform for clients to view
  • You’ll then be ready to receive referrals and session requests
